Heather Martin

As Controller, Heather is responsible for the daily and monthly accounting and operations functions. In her role, she oversees the fund administrator’s accounting activities, including tracking capital flows, reviewing NAV packages and investor statements. She provides daily reporting and trade support to the investment team and coordinates trade settlement with counterparties, custodians and the fund administrator. Heather serves on the Expense and Valuation Committees.

Heather’s experience spans over 20 years across fund accounting, treasury, and operations. Prior to joining Argentem in November 2025, she spent 10 years at Northern Trust Asset Servicing as a Senior Relationship Manager, where she managed all client related business including on-boarding new funds and service engagements, account openings including KYC completion, and overseeing the monthly/annual reporting cycles. Prior to Northern Trust, she has held several Senior Fund Accounting and Operations roles at Pine River Capital Management, CarVal Investors and SIT Investment Associates. In these roles, she was responsible for global private and public securities, including reconciliation of accounting books and records, investor reporting, cash forecasting, and deploying funding within complex fund structures. In addition, she worked extensively with cross functional teams to develop and implement the processes and systems to support the full lifecycle of these transactions.
